About the project

This 32-storey city centre development in Manchester by Unite Students delivers 603 student accommodation units – a mix of studio and cluster apartments with shared kitchen facilities – along with best-in-class amenities and lettable commercial space.

The building, which achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, is divided into four distinct stacked blocks defined by shadow lines with a lower podium element and a tower above.

The DPR team provided expertise on light advisory, including rights of light, daylight, sunlight and shadowing, unlocking the full potential of this complex scheme.

The development completed in 2021.
