Graduate AutoCAD Technician – London Office

Delva Patman Redler are currently looking to recruit a graduate AutoCAD Technician to join our busy London office. This is another excellent opportunity for the right person to join our Rights of Light analysis department which is tasked with constructing 3D contextual analysis models for rights of light and daylight/sunlight assessment work covering sites across the UK.

Delva Patman Redler is a Chartered Survey company where you can develop your existing skills and learn new talents as part of a growing team within the company. We work on a huge variety of schemes, covering aspects of rights of light, daylight/sunlight/shadowing, solar glare, envelope exercises, feasibility studies and BREEAM assessments.

Minimum Requirements

  • You will have relevant knowledge of AutoCAD and associated presentation packages with experience in 2D and 3D modelling. Revit knowledge beneficial but not essential.
  • You will have practised skills to successfully control and handle workload and the implementation of company and project CAD standards and drawing document procedures.
  • You will work on own initiative as a CAD Technician, in conjunction with the other members of the light analyses department.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally with other departments and externally with clients and other professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Architecture or design focused diploma or degree qualifiaction.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience using 2D and 3D AutoCAD and Revit 3D modelling.
  • Conversant with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Adobe, and Power-point.

Salary

3D Survey CAD Technician – London Office

Delva Patman Redler are currently looking to recruit a 3D CAD Survey Technician to join our busy Measured Survey Department based in our Central London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to become an essential part of our measured survey department generating 2D and 3D drawings directly from measured survey data whilst also being able to assist with the capture of that data on sites around the UK.

We are one of the leading neighbourly matters consultants and work on a huge variety of projects from the small and bespoke to some of the largest development projects in the country.

Minimum Requirements

  • You will have relevant knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit and associated presentation packages. Experience working with Point Cloud data would also be beneficial.
  • You will have practised skills to successfully control and handle workload and the implementation of company and project CAD standards and drawing document procedures.
  • You will work on own initiative as a lead CAD Technician, in conjunction with the other members of the measured surveying department.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally with other departments and externally with clients and other professionals.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience using 2D and 3D AutoCAD and Revit 3D modelling.
  • Experience modelling from Point Cloud data beneficial.

Measured Surveyor – London Office

Delva Patman Redler are currently looking to recruit a Measured Surveyor to join our busy London office. This is another excellent opportunity for the right person to join our measured survey department which is tasked with capturing and processing the data needed to generate 2D and 3D information for our wide range of projects on sites around the UK.

Delva Patman Redler is a Chartered Survey company where you can develop your existing skills and learn new talents on some of the country’s most exciting and interesting projects. We work on a huge variety of schemes; from small scale topographic surveys used to resolve boundary disputes to 3D Laser scans for some of the largest development projects in the country.

Minimum Requirements

  • You will have relevant knowledge and experience using the latest equipment, including total stations and Laser Scanners and their associated software processing packages.
  • Have some experience with CAD software and the production of drawings / 3D models.
  • You will have the practical skills to successfully control and handle workload and the implementation of company and project standards and document procedures.
  • You will be able to work on own initiative or as part of a team, in conjunction with the other members of the measured surveying department and to maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and significant previous experience of measured survey disciplines such as topographic, measured building and setting out with associated equipment use.
  • Experience with survey data processing and AutoCAD in 2D, 3D modelling skills would also be beneficial.
  • UK Driving License advantageous.
  • Conversant with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Adobe, and Power-point.

Rights of Light Assistant Surveyor/ Surveyor/Senior Surveyor – London Office

We are currently looking to appoint a new member in our rights of light department in our London office. The successful candidate will be client facing, providing strategic advice, writing reports, and carrying out negotiations between developer and adjoining owners throughout the UK.

As the number of our live projects are constantly growing, there will be opportunity to work on high profile and complex developments of all shapes and sizes, while also gaining practical experience in rights of light, daylight and sunlight.

The right candidate will enjoy working with people, having great personable skills. They will be able to project manage varying levels and types of negotiations at a time.

Minimum Requirements

  • You will have direct client facing or customer service experience.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally and externally.
  • Apply time management skills to your own workload in conjunction with our team.
  • Previous experience in rights of light or other surveying practices is preferable but not essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (no specific subject requirement).
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
