About the project

Set to be one of the UK’s tallest student accommodation buildings, this 41-storey tower in East London by Unite Students has secured planning approval from the London Legacy Development Corporation.

Designed by BDP, the building comprises cluster flats with 952 bedrooms, complemented by flexible commercial space and a range of community facilities, including a café, workspace, retail and hospitality.

The design, which was described by planning committee members as ‘elegant and effortless’, works to resolve a complex urban site, presenting a new gateway to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

We are acting on light advisory, including daylight, sunlight, shadowing and solar glare.

Completion is targeted for 2027.
