It also includes 367 new Build-to-Rent homes, with the additional hexagonally designed residential tower stepping up from 34 to 45 storeys in height and will become another recognisable addition to Manchester’s skyline.

Consent was granted in 2023 for Oval Real Estate’s plans to redevelop the site by replacing existing structures with two new landmark buildings.

Designed by Studio Egret West, this ambitious scheme includes 365,000 sq ft of flexible workspace over 19 storeys, with a unique façade and a variety of rooftop gardens and green terraces. It also includes 367 Build-to-Rent homes, in a residential tower with a stepped design rising from 34 to 45 storeys, along with numerous high-quality shared spaces and amenities.

DPR’s team was appointed to provide full light advisory consultancy on this significant development, ensuring a bespoke approach that complements the intricate design while optimising the site’s potential.
