Delva Patman Redler advised GPE on the Daylight, Sunlight and Rights of Light for the 160,600 sq ft (14,920 sq m) Central London redevelopment, as well as the Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters.
The tour, held on the 10th July was hosted by GPE Project Manager Miles Wilkinson and Development Manager Kat Norton.
Formerly known as 148 Old Street, the property, which was originally let to Royal Mail Group Limited, was purchased by GPE in March 2013. Planning was achieved in March 2015 for the comprehensive refurbishment, which included 153,034 sq ft (14,217 sq m) of office accommodation over eleven floors and 5,325 sq ft (495 sq m) of retail and restaurant accommodation at ground level.
The Old Street area is undergoing significant change, becoming London’s go to digital and tech hub. The Delva Patman Redler team is delighted to have played a part in the refurbishment, providing a range of our specialist services to contribute to its transformation.
