DPR are proud supporters of Team V3nture!
Robert Cross, Charlie Newman, and Robert Treasure are three friends who met at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2019. Their joint passion for pushing themselves while making a positive change has resulted in their desire to fundraise for charity while embarking on challenges not for the faint of heart.
The proceeds of all funds raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, the Welsh Guards Charity, the Royal Artillery Association, and The Rifles Care for Casualties.
They are currently undertaking the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, an unsupported 30–50-day rowing race across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera to Antigua. This gruelling challenge involves rowing in 2-hour shifts, 24/7, for up to 50 days. Non-stop. Having set out a day early due to weather conditions, we closely watch their progress through this incredible challenge.
