About the project

This £136 million scheme by developer Watkin Jones Group transforms land in Birmingham’s Southside into an outstanding new neighbourhood offering 551 apartments for rent.

The Sherlock Street development contains six buildings, with sub-blocks ranging in height from five storeys to a 30-floor tower, set around two courtyards.

Our team was introduced to support all areas of light advisory, including daylight and sunlight, shadowing and solar glare, all critical considerations given the location and scale of the development.

Completion is anticipated in 2027.
