DPR Supports Planning Approval for Harrow Civic Centre Regeneration

Planning permission (subject to s106) has been granted for the regeneration of the former Civic Centre site in Harrow — a major step forward in delivering over 1,000 new homes, a central public space, and a mix of retail, community and potential healthcare uses.

DPR prepared the Daylight and Sunlight Environmental Statement for the project, supporting Harrow Council’s wider regeneration strategy.

Highlights include:
• Over 1,000 homes across three phases
• Poets Garden – a new public space at the heart of the site
• Retail and community space
• Over 100 retained trees and new planting to enhance biodiversity

Following the approval of Byron Quarter earlier this year, these developments being brought forward by Wates and Harrow Council are helping to reshape Harrow into a more connected and sustainable place to live.
