We’re delighted to see planning permission granted for the transformation of 21 Wilson Street, a project led by Buckley Gray Yeoman that places sustainability, reuse, and sensitive design at the heart of its approach.
This redevelopment will deliver over 35,000 sq ft of premium office space while retaining more than 90% of the existing structure a move that significantly reduces embodied carbon and demonstrates a strong commitment to circular design principles. With features such as a high-performance façade, rooftop photovoltaics, and a biodiverse communal terrace, the scheme sets a compelling example of how modern office design can align with environmental responsibility.
DPR was proud to contribute to this milestone by providing a suite of specialist consultancy services to support both the planning process and early-stage design development. Our team carried out detailed daylight and sunlight analysis to inform massing and ensure compliance with relevant guidance, as well as a full measured survey to provide an accurate and robust baseline for design and technical coordination. We are also acting as party wall surveyors for the scheme, helping to manage the project’s interface with neighbouring properties from an early stage.
This integrated technical input played a key role in helping the design team balance ambitious sustainability targets with complex urban constraints a challenge increasingly central to delivering high-quality projects in central London.
We look forward to seeing the transformation of 21 Wilson Street progress and extend our congratulations to Buckley Gray Yeoman and the wider project team on reaching this important milestone.
