Planning permission for Ballymore’s Thames Road development granted

We are pleased to welcome the approval of planning permission for Ballymore’s Thames Road development on the north bank of the River Thames, following consent granted by the London Borough of Newham.

DPR was appointed to lead the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) technical work relating to daylight, sunlight, overshadowing and solar glare, supporting a major regeneration scheme that will deliver new homes, education facilities, employment space and high-quality public realm.

Designed by Howells, the approved proposals form part of a wider, long-term vision for the Royal Docks and build on the success of nearby regeneration initiatives, including Royal Wharf.

This represents a strong planning outcome and a positive example of coordinated, large-scale regeneration contributing to London’s continued growth.
